This article outlines the concept of state-of-the-art measurement in human resource assessment. It is our position that the scientific validity of any assessment begins with the fundamental issue of "quality of measurement".

Dr. Houran, a veteran in applied psychological research, joined HVS Executive Search in 2005 as head of the company's 20|20 Skills Assessment™ service. He is a recognized expert on peak performance, online testing and interpersonal and organizational compatibility. In his current role as Managing Director, North America, he leads the North America Performance Management service.
