Mark Lynn, president of HVS' Asset Management Division, and Tom Hazinski, managing director of HVS' Convention Facilities Consulting Division, are pleased to announce their collaborative effort to assist the City of Albuquerque explore options to develop a full-service hotel near its downtown convention center.
Fred Mondragon, chairman of Albuquerque's Economic Development Department, working with City Council member Eric Griego, has asked HVS International to assist the City in finding solutions to finance this development. Many leaders in the City feel this project will strengthen the appeal of Albuquerque as a convention destination.
"HVS will assess the Albuquerque market and explore financial structures that may be appropriate for this type of development," explains Lynn.
Adds Hazinski, "Our overall objective is to help the City of Albuquerque to be effective in attracting conventions and tradeshows in an increasingly competitive environment."
